That Bespin scene is pretty dang awesome!
Man, if I was in Chicago last weekend, I would've been at Lollapalooza
the entire time. Screw comics! :)
That's what Jeremy did!
He had the sunburn and the sparkly bracelet on Sunday to prove it!
Some of us aren't exactly down with hip kids.
I didn't know any of those bands!
Oh and thank you SO much for making that link active.
Y-you're welcome? I don't know what you mean! Is this sarcasm?!?
well... actually, yes. yes, it is.
I was trying to be funny? ish?
If it makes you feel better I actually did click on it.
also *hugs* to my favorite purple monster maker! ^_^

This was the first year I missed wwchicago, my home convention (i went to florida for vacation). I was pretty upset I didn't get a chance to meet you! See you next year for sure! Lunch is on me!
Indeed! Sorry I missed ya! Next year! :)
I especially love Tiger Owly and Safari Wormy. :)
Hee, thanks! I prolly shoulda made Owly's feet more cat-like.
Thanks! Yeah... he turned out more furry-y then I hoped? I suppose I need to make 'em more like costumes if they get too weird. :)
Ah-hahahahahah! Carbonite wormy really cracked me up!
Thanks, man. Yeah I can't take credit for that idea, but it turned out better than I expected it would. :)
as usual those are the most adorable drawings i've ever seen :)
those are a great bunch of con sketches. I don't think I'll be able to see you this year. :( SPX will be the last chance, but that'll depend on funds. Love to get the 3rd one in person like the others for my daughter.
Maybe I'll just have to get 3 & 4 next year.
No worries. That sounds like a good plan! :)
I found this particular round of "Owly as" sketches EXCEPTIONALLY cute! That Godzilla and Mothra one....to die for!
Cute, as always. Could one ever expect less from the three of you? ;)
Aw, thanks, Samantha! ^,^
And I just realized that for some reason I hadn't friended you?!?!
That last one is like... WOW! I'm so jealous.
It was nice meeting you, Andy, and thanks again for the Owly Punisher sketch.
Yeah, um... that one took a little while and wasn't exactly cheap. ;)
Thanks again for the support, Mike. It was great meeting you!
Oh, we've got to get you up to Seattle for the Emerald City Comicon so I can get me an Aquaman owly... I'd also like to Troll
Maybe one of these days!
Troll looks like Sweetums from the Muppets!! :D
These are all fabulous, but my Black Belt Owly is the best! :) I was amused by your reassurance that Wormy was wearing a bandanna.
Great meeting you, Andy...I was happy to learn that you're just as nice as Owly! And I'd love to know if you were able to get out to any of those veggie restaurants I mentioned.
It was great to meet you too, Jenny! Thanks for the kind words and thank you for all of your kindness!! Sadly I didn't get to check those places out because the people I was with didn't want to venture out. But I saved the list and I'm gonna make 'em go next time. I've had enough french fries to last me a lifetime. ;)
You could also come out for a meal with me and Mike, if need be. I know you don't know us all that well, but I think we make good company. :)
That would work too! I'd certainly love to eat some real food the next time I'm in Chicago. :)
Man, Godzilla Owly is so awesomely weird. They're so cheerful, in the ruins of Toyko. The destruction of cute! :)
Thanks, man! Yes... I'm sure any second they're getting ready to break out the veggie-marshmallows to roast over the burning buildings. ;)
Luke Owlywalker is absolutely brilliant. Good luck to Wormy with the carbon sickness when they thaw him out later.
Very very cute (owly) plus armed (Luke's blaster) equals Yanichka on the floor, laughing. He'll use it, too... check out that scowl! Oh these are wonderful. Wonderful!
Aw, thanks! Heee... well, it's not a REAL blaster. It just makes cute *pew pew* sounds. :)
I love how cheery Owly-zilla is after having leveled Japan. Destruction with a smile!
True, so true. I'm guessing the fire tickles? :)
I must say though my favorite is Creature from the Black Lagoon Owly. He looks like he's saying "Hey look at me! I'm kinda gross looking but still the most adorable thing you've ever seen!"
And Wormy as Hans = Sooooo good!
Aw...heee... thanks, Leeny. :) Indeed he is saying that. Also, "Who wants a hug?!"
Yes, Wormy as Hans...wait... Hans!?! Wormy as a Sweedish Han Solo! Best idea ever!!! ;D
Oooh, I love the Star Wars one!!
I'd also like to chime in and say I love Owly as Luke! I had to show your sketch to my Star Wars costuming friends.

it was my first word!
This is off-topic for this entry, but yo!
Congratulations on the Ignatz!
(Yes, it really was "ignatz".)
Creature from the Black Lagoon Owly has got to be one of the cutest things I've ever seen.
I love the Owly comics, so I'm adding you to my friend's list - hope ya don't mind. :)
Awesomely awesome. I love the tiger owly with safari wormy!!
